You must banish diet from your life forever

Losing weight

Every so often, a new weight-loss "miracle method" goes viral, and after two years, nobody talks about it anymore. Then comes a new one that will suffer the same fate.

But the reality is very different. Losing weight is an adoption behavior. Maintaining habits that stimulate your metabolism will help you lose weight. Returning to your old habits will cause you to gain weight again and again, month after month, year after year.

And, as you know, diets don't work. No matter how much you want them to be the solution. Yes, they provide short-term results, but most people regain all the weight they've lost and then some. So what's the point of playing yo-yo with your weight all your life?

Long-term results

For me, "losing weight" is: "Achieving a healthy weight and maintaining it for the rest of your life.

So you're faced with a different reality. You must adopt and maintain new lifestyle habits for the rest of your life to lose weight. This means that no matter what stresses, temptations, or difficulties you encounter, you won't deviate from your new healthy lifestyle habits.

In this context, losing weight is much more than following a diet and seeing your weight drop on your bathroom scale. Losing weight means working hard on yourself: managing your diet, coping with stress, improving the quality of your sleep, and exercising without exhausting yourself.

No more food deprivation

Losing weight involves much more than food deprivation and training to exhaustion. In fact, to lose weight, you absolutely must avoid starving yourself and training yourself to death because your metabolism will do anything to store fat (fatten up).

I want to present you with the reality of weight loss. Trying to make you believe you can lose weight quickly and without involvement would be a lie.

What I'll explain about weight loss won't always be easy to read because it will confront you with your attitude, your beliefs, your behaviors, your excuses, your lifestyle habits, and the real reasons that are preventing you from making the significant change in your life that you desire so.

Although I'm talking about the hard facts of weight loss, I hope to get you to think and act differently so that you can make progress toward your goal. If you don't do it now, the question remains: "Where will you be in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years?"

I sincerely hope you will say, "Everything's changed."
