Overworked entrepreneurs: here’s how to take control of your health

Goals

Entrepreneurs have the extraordinary ability to put 100% of themselves into achieving their goals. All their thoughts and efforts are directed in that direction. They're not philosophers. They're doers.

However, when developing a project or business becomes his sole priority, the entrepreneur invests all his time. He doesn't question anything. He works to succeed.

His brain becomes convinced that work is life's only priority, the most essential thing.

The entrepreneur has created a reality all his own. He's not looking for a balanced life; he wants to succeed by following the path laid out by his beliefs.

If someone tells him he needs to look after his health, he replies: "You're right, I'll get on with it," but when the time comes to act, he retorts that he doesn't have enough time because he's too busy.

The years passed much faster than he had expected.

Aging and poor lifestyle habits bring their own share of health problems.

The entrepreneur faces a new reality: he's not invincible and won't live forever. He needs to care for his health to live long enough with the best quality of life possible to reap the full benefits of his efforts.

The easiest thing to do is to deny this reality and maintain the same attitude without worrying about the consequences for your health.

The healthier alternative is to realize that health is the only tool that enables him to achieve his goals in life.

Without health, he's nothing.

When you understand and accept the importance of health but still firmly believe that work is the most important thing you can do, you live in your closed world, and no new lifestyle habits can take root.

Under these conditions, the only way to regain control of your health is to question your priorities in life. A self-examination is needed to avoid health problems that will reduce your quality of life and life expectancy.

The way to achieve this transformation is based on 3 steps:
1.    Understand that your health is your only tool to achieve your goals.
2.    Voluntarily make your health your number 1 priority (the excuse of lack of time loses all its power).
3.    Every day, invest time (30 to 45 minutes) in your health (get moving, eat better, improve the quality of your sleep, take rest periods...).

In this way, you create a new company called My Health. It becomes the parent company that guides all your other businesses.

It's the most thoughtful way to go.

Now it's up to you to decide what to do with your health.

You always have the right to wait until it's too late.
